Job summary

Focus School Software is seeking an energetic QA Tester to help ensure quality across our SIS product in a fully remote role. You will perform manual testing on bug fixes and new features, and collaborate with the automation team to write test cases and regression tests.

The ideal candidate has experience with manual and regression testing, familiarity with Focus School Software or similar SIS, and a keen eye for detail; SQL knowledge is a plus. This is a remote position with nationwide scope.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manual and regression software testing and experience using Focus School Software's product or similar SIS product.
• Understanding of Focus School Software and school district operations is a plus.
• Attention to fine details and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing on bug fixes and/or new features
• Write test cases for the automation team to automate
• Perform regression testing when new versions are released
• Interact with Tier 2 Engineers when testing tickets
