Job summary

Ellucian is seeking a Smart Plan Technical Consultant to help higher education institutions streamline academic advising. You will configure Ellucian Smart Plan, manage data migration, and ensure data integrity while working with Colleague, Credential Discovery, and Transfer solutions.

You will write queries with Java and SQL, analyze data, and support clients across multiple projects, collaborating with engineering and QA teams to meet client goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of functional or technical experience with Ellucian Colleague and student academic data in advising or degree audit processes.
• Preferred 2-4 years of experience using Java, Python or SQL for data extraction.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and configuration of Ellucian Smart Plan for new clients and refine advising rules.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to troubleshoot issues and facilitate client meetings.
• Write queries using Java, SQL for data extraction and analysis; work with Linux shell for log reading.
• Coordinate cross-team tasks using platforms like Confluence and define success criteria.
