Job summary

Ellucian is seeking a Consultant to support the Managed Services client community. You will work directly with customers to understand business and technical needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement reliable solutions using Ellucian tools and resources.

The role emphasizes learning new business domains, products, and technologies quickly, with strong communication and collaboration across teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in application development, technical support, integrations, consulting, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript technologies (ReactJS, NodeJS, ES5/ES6).
• Experience consuming and troubleshooting REST APIs and API clients (Bruno, Postman, Insomnia).
• Experience with system integrations, data tracing across connected systems, and version control (Git).
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle PL/SQL desirable).
• Experience with GraphQL, help desk or incident management, and ProcessMaker is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve defined to moderately complex technical issues with a structured approach.
• Gather information from customers to understand program needs and objectives.
• Analyze application behavior, logs, API responses, and data to identify causes and fixes.
• Prototype, configure, test, and debug applications, integrations, reports, and scripts.
• Communicate progress and findings clearly to customers and internal teams; escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet priorities and service expectations.
• Document technical findings and reusable troubleshooting steps.
