Job summary

CampusWorks, Inc. seeks an experienced Colleague Programmer/Technical Consultant to work with higher education clients on enhancing and migrating Colleague environments, ensuring performance and data accuracy.

You will collaborate with client teams, design and implement integrations with Ethos APIs, and provide training and support across Colleague modules, Self-Service, WebAPI, and related tools. Remote work allows engagement across the US.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working with Colleague at higher education institutions.
• Experience with SQL Reporting Services, CROA, ODS, Informer or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with all Colleague Modules.
• Experience installing Colleague Self-Service, WebAPI, and Ethos.
• Experience installing SSL Certificates.
• Experience applying application and database patches.
• Experience using Colleague Studio.
• Proficiency in SQL, including Unidata/Oracle.
• Experience with API integrations and Colleague SaaS migrations.
• Experience migrating Unidata to SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop Colleague integrations following best practices using Ethos APIs, Integration, Data Connect, Colleague SDK for .NET, SFTP.
• Complete programming/analysis and testing using Colleague Studio.
• Participate in Colleague/Ellucian module projects and data migrations to SQL.
• Patch, clone, and install base Colleague applications.
• Provide technical support for the Colleague software suite.
• Provide Colleague system administration and monitoring.
• Manage backups, updates and releases.
• Provide end-user training.

CampusWorks is seeking an experienced Colleague Programmer/Technical Consultant to work with our higher education clients on enhancing, migrating, and integrating their Colleague instance to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy. Bring your strong communication skills, passion for higher education, and Ellucian Colleague programming/system administration expertise to assist on various projects. As a CampusWork consultant, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work while contributing to the success of leading institutions. CampusWorks consultants engage with our clients in higher education to assist them in fully leveraging their people, processes, policies, and technologies. We work collaboratively with clients' functional and technical teams and our CampusWorks colleagues to evaluate current processes, design future-state optimal processes, and to architect, develop, test, train, and rollout process and technical solutions that delight our clients.

Depending on the client needs, key responsibilities may include:

• Develop Colleague integrations following best practices and using tools like Ethos APIs, Ethos Integration, Ellucian Experience Cards, Data Connect, Colleague SDK for .NET, SFTP, Elf Imports, etc.
• Complete programming/analysis and/or testing using Colleague Studio
• Participate in Colleague/Ellucian module project implementation and/or Unidata to SQL migration for Colleague
• Patching, Cloning, and Installation of base Colleague Applications
• Provide technical support for the Colleague software suite
• Provide Colleague system administration and monitoring
• Manage system backups/updates/releases
• Provide end user training

• Report Writing (including SQL Reporting Services, CROA, ODS, Informer, and/or other reporting tools)
• Experience with all Colleague Modules
• Experience with installation and setup of Colleague Self-Service, WebAPI, and Ethos
• Experience installing SSL Certificates
• Experience installing application and database patches
• Experience using Colleague Studio
• SQL Server, Unidata, and Oracle (as needed) relational databases
• Data migrations (ETL) experience
• Experience with Colleague Self-Service / Ellucian Experience
• SQL Proficiency
