Job summary

Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Sleep Study Support Specialist to join the SleepView Direct team. This role is primarily work-from-home, with occasional on-site meetings as needed.

You will deliver timely, accurate and compassionate support throughout the sleep testing process. You will handle scheduling, equipment coverage, troubleshooting, and frontline patient questions, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth patient

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a sleep center or patient-facing environment.
• Experience communicating by phone with patients or customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, empathetic.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience documenting patient interactions and maintaining records.
• Ability to handle PHI per HIPAA requirements.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic phone support to patients, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with equipment coverage, troubleshooting, and patient assistance before and after overnight studies.
• Answer questions about services, scheduling, testing and next steps.
• Document interactions, actions taken, and follow-up needed.
• Make and monitor outbound calls to patients and customers as needed.
• Monitor test scheduling and return calls to ensure timely support.
• Schedule and coordinate patient testing with accurate study information.
• Complete daily tasks within established timeframes.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and protect PHI.
• Identify issues and escalate to the appropriate team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve patient needs and support goals.
• Communicate important information to internal teams in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate ownership and follow-through on tasks.
• Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to process improvements.
• Support team coverage and assist teammates when needed.
• Follow workflows and quality standards, maintaining a patient-focused approach.
