Job summary

Neurocare, Inc. in Newton, MA (with multiple Boston-area labs) seeks a Scheduling Coordinator to help patients access diagnostic sleep testing. This role combines outbound/inbound calls, insurance verification, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure timely appointments.

You will educate patients about testing, obtain history, schedule 20 patients daily, and maintain accurate information across systems. Remote work is possible as needed, with weekend/evening coverage as required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience required
• Medical setting experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and quick learning of new software
• High level of organization and accuracy
• Excellent telephone communication and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Heavy phone work: inbound and outbound calls
• Schedule a minimum of 20 patients per day
• Obtain patient history and clinical data prior to appointments
• Educate patients about sleep testing, registration, and study process
• Verify insurance online to ensure compliant billing
• Coordinate with clinical team to ensure staff availability
• Interact with physicians, insurers, and others to address issues
• Report weekly and monthly information for sites
• Perform other duties as assigned
