Job summary

Carter Machinery in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Site Services Engineer to support remote and autonomous technologies. You will collaborate with sales, service and product teams to deploy CAT Command technologies, analyze site data, and drive performance improvements across mining, quarry, and construction applications.

This role requires travel to customer sites, strong project coordination, and the ability to train customers and sales staff on RC and Autonomy solutions.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Command Technologies including RC and Autonomy.
• Deep understanding of customer site needs and management.
• Experience with Quarry/Aggregate, Waste and Civil Construction applications.
• Experience evaluating digital construction technology projects preferred.
• Strong customer satisfaction and cross-functional coordination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to drive results using CAT Autonomous and Remote-Control products.
• Develop site-based performance measurements with Site Services and Performance teams.
• Provide training on RC and Autonomy to customers and sales reps.
• Assist with data acquisition and site setup with Customer Software specialists.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
• Propose product improvements based on customer feedback.
