Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Autonomy Solutions Architect to translate customer challenges into scalable autonomous haulage solutions. You will partner with commercial, technical, operational, dealer, customer, and executive stakeholders to shape strategies and deliver measurable outcomes.

The role requires working onsite at the Tucson, AZ or Irving, TX office, with at least 30% travel. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Understands customer priorities, constraints and business objectives.
• Deep knowledge of mining industry drivers, site constraints, and cost considerations.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, weigh tradeoffs, and recommend solutions.
• Clear communication of complex concepts to senior leaders and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to negotiate scope, value commitments and tradeoffs constructively.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-centered solution development translating needs into integrated autonomy solutions.
• Drive commercial and technical strategy balancing customer value and long-term growth.
• Influence the future of autonomous mining by aligning technology with business goals.
• Build strategic partnerships with industry leaders and key accounts.
• Champion cross-functional collaboration across Business Development, Mine Operations, Technology, CRM and Engineering.
• Pioneer innovative business models including outcome-based agreements and gain-share structures.
• Serve as the voice of the customer to inform strategy, planning and solution design.
