Canonical is a pioneering tech firm behind Ubuntu, recruiting globally with a distributed model. We seek a Site Reliability Engineering Manager to lead a high-performance DevOps-focused team across IS services, prioritizing infrastructure as code and cloud-native operations.

You will mentor engineers, drive agile DevOps practices, and coordinate cross-team projects to meet SLAs for deployments worldwide. This remote role spans APAC/EMEA time zones and may involve travel.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of DevOps teams and delivery of SaaS-based services.
• Experience building and operating infrastructure as code at scale.
• Strong background in cloud architectures and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and code quality practices.
• Willingness to travel for company events (biannual).
• Outstanding academic record in high school and university.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performance IS/SRE team across time zones.
• Drive daily agile DevOps practices and project governance.
• Represent IS to stakeholders, coordinate internal initiatives.
