Job summary

Orange Logic is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure availability and performance of global platform services. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and improve reliability across cloud-based infrastructure, with IaC automation and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in site reliability, DevOps, or production engineering with increasing responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficient in SQL and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with observability stacks and automated alert systems.
• Familiarity with web protocols, networking fundamentals, and API performance optimization.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience mentoring engineering teams and conducting reliability reviews.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, administer, and troubleshoot application performance and infrastructure health.
• Analyze and resolve application issues, provide timely status updates, and root cause analysis.
• Respond to alerts, outages, and system degradations with recovery procedures.
• Support front-end and back-end applications with performance improvements.
• Implement and manage IaC using Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Administer cloud-native services (EC2, S3, RDS, Kubernetes) on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline deployments and config management.
• Ensure consistent code migration across environments for stability.
• Deploy and maintain Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack for monitoring.
• Establish proactive alerting and visibility into system behavior.
• Plan and execute configuration changes with minimal disruption.
• Support scheduled maintenance and patching activities.
• Participate in on-call rotation for incident resolution.
• Collaborate with Development/Infrastructure teams to optimize performance.
• Identify process improvements to enhance reliability and deployment efficiency.
