Job summary
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems in production. This remote role sits within a leading technology consulting and software development company delivering cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions across the United States.
The ideal candidate has 6+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong coding skills in Python/Go/Java, and hands-on Linux and Kubernetes experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience for large-scale systems.
- Strong programming in Python, Go, or Java for automation and tooling.
- Hands-on Linux with networking, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and container workloads.
- Observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK.
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
- Understanding of distributed system design, consistency, partitioning and failures.
- Experience leading incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
