Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Systems Reliability Engineer to ensure the availability, performance, and operational excellence of large-scale distributed systems in production.

You will apply software engineering principles to infrastructure, build automation, and monitor systems with a focus on reliability as a first-class deliverable. Remote work within the United States is supported for this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of SRE/DevOps or production engineering experience.
• Strong programming in Python, Go, or Java with automation focus.
• Hands-on Linux administration at scale with networking and tuning.
• Experience operating Kubernetes and container workloads.
• Proficient with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK).
• CI/CD pipeline design for infrastructure and apps.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems.
• Design, automate, and operate resilient services with measurable reliability.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Develop tooling and automation to reduce operational toil.
