Job summary

Social Discovery Group (SDG) seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen our production infrastructure and automate deployments. This remote, full-time role welcomes applicants worldwide and offers hands-on work with Kubernetes, IaC, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps or related field.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker/Podman).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred).
• IaC and configuration management with Ansible and/or Terraform.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, VictoriaMetrics).
• Networking fundamentals, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git and modern software delivery workflows.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure improvements.
• Fluent Russian for technical documentation and team communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve production infrastructure reliability and stability.
• Prepare, execute, and support deployments and infrastructure changes.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Ansible and Terraform.
• Support and optimize Kubernetes-based and containerized environments.
• Develop automation scripts and internal operational tooling.
• Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and improve observability.
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements with DevOps, QA, and SRE teams.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
