Job summary

ecssio? Ecosio is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote-first team. You will help maintain AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure, improve availability, scalability, and security, and lead CI/CD efforts with GitLab and Docker.

You will work on Linux-based EC2, Kubernetes, and monitoring stacks like Prometheus and Datadog, participating in on-call rotations and continuous improvement of tooling and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and networking.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS or GCP, CI, and GitLab.
• Strong written and spoken technical English.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
• Nice to have: ongoing/completed studies in CS or engineering.
• Nice to have: experience with Prometheus or Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, Docker, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance.
• Manage Kubernetes infrastructure and Linux EC2 instances.
• Solve complex technical problems with clean, sustainable solutions.
• Support security management and monitoring tasks.
• Support build management/deployment (GitLab, Maven, Docker).
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with developers.
