Job summary

Rustici Software is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Franklin, TN. You will help deploy, monitor, and maintain multiple applications on our AWS-hosted infrastructure, working with development teams in a remote/in-office hybrid setup.

The role requires collaborating with DevSecOps leadership and product teams to improve security, reliability, and performance across hosted resources, while participating in an on-call rotation and ensuring 24/7/365 availability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience deploying in AWS and managing production systems.
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Experience with on-call rotation and incident response.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Improve internal automation via Infrastructure as Code.
• Maintain infrastructure control plane and add features.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues on on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and product teams to improve security, reliability, performance, and cost.
• Collaborate with support/integration teams on deployments and operations.
• Stay current with best practices in site reliability, security, networking, and operations.
