Canonical is seeking a Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager to drive partnerships with semiconductor companies and align open source strategies with Canonical’s Ubuntu ecosystem.

In this remote-friendly position, you will navigate complex technical challenges, learn quickly, and craft joint solutions across global teams. The role offers opportunities to grow from early to senior levels and to influence Go-To-Market strategies with key partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or technology strategy.
• Ability to translate partner needs into concrete programs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort working across remote global teams.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Represent Canonical to silicon partners and articulate value.
• Understand partner roadmaps and identify overlap with Canonical products.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing and sales to define joint programs.
• Create and track robust project plans for partnerships.
• Develop GTM campaigns and messaging with partners, manage launches.
• Lead contract negotiations to successful close.
