Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to support high-speed interconnect and data transmission technologies from concept through production. The role collaborates with global teams and may sit remote within the United States, with travel as needed.

The candidate will apply SI, SerDes, channel analysis and measurement techniques, and will use tools like HFSS, CST, ADS, and MATLAB to validate designs and troubleshoot issues across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Experience with SerDes and high-speed digital design is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support customer system development from concept through production.
• Develop and execute integration, validation, and test strategies for new product introductions.
• Investigate SI and SerDes issues through data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification.
• Review manufacturing and test results to determine failure mechanisms and corrective actions.
• Design, evaluate, and improve high-speed test platforms, boards, and measurement systems.
• Apply SI, transmission line, and high-speed design principles to product development and production.
