ZP Connect in Texas is seeking a part-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality ASL interpretation via video relay, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting at customer locations as needed. The role requires fluent ASL and spoken English and strict adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• State licensure or state-required credentials, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
• Exhibit punctuality and preparedness for shifts, respectful interaction with colleagues and supervisors, and timely record keeping.
