Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC is seeking interpreters to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpretation via video in a call-center setting. The role requires fluent ASL and English, accurate interpretation, and strict adherence to NAD-RID conduct.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Accurate interpretation and thorough knowledge of and adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years interpreting experience preferred; state credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service and video remote interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a respectful and professional attitude.
• Maintain punctuality, preparedness, and timely, accurate record keeping.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Possess ability to multitask between interpreting and using video platforms.

• Onsite interpreting may be offered based on business need; driving requires a valid license and insurance.
