Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or related technical field.
• 2+ years in cybersecurity, security operations, or SIEM engineering.
• 2+ years with one of Splunk, Palo Alto XSIAM, or CrowdStrike NG SIEM.
• Security certification such as Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, or CrowdStrike.
• 1+ years building, tuning, and maintaining SIEM searches, alerts, dashboards, and reports.
• Active Secret clearance or higher; legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize SIEM content including correlations, alerts, dashboards, and reports.
• Analyze security events and logs to identify activity and support investigations.
• Integrate and normalize log sources from endpoint, network, cloud, identity, and apps.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on use case development, detection, triage, and response.
• Document detection logic and monitoring requirements for consistent service delivery.
