Job summary

Leidos is seeking an accomplished SIEM Engineer to join a high-performance agile team supporting a national security program. You will configure data collection, parsing, correlation and visualization to support analysts and mission-critical operations.

You will apply deep skills in log management, threat detection and dashboard development, working across teams to improve reporting and data quality while reducing false positives and negatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field; 12+ years of relevant experience (substitutions allowed).
• 5+ years of experience with StealthWatch, TripWire, Zenoss, ArcSight, or Splunk.
• Experience engineering and administering Splunk; multi-site clusters and data ingestion.
• Proven skills designing dashboards and analytics within SIEM tools; threat detection.
• Experience with monitoring systems for auditing, incident response, and system health.

• Configure collection, parsing, correlation and visualization of event data.
• Apply expertise in log management and threat detection to develop analytics and dashboards.
• Collaborate with analysts and end users to improve reporting and data extraction.
