Job summary

Catholic Relief Services seeks a technical advisor for Shelter and Settlements to support design and implementation of high‑quality programs across country teams, aligned with CRS standards and donor guidelines.

You will provide remote and on‑site technical guidance, help prepare proposals, and contribute to capacity strengthening, learning, and data‑driven decision making.

The role is remote, with up to 50% travel, tentative Sept 2026–Dec 31, 2027; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in project design and proposal development.
• Knowledge of capacity-strengthening best practices.
• Experience with program monitoring and evaluation and analysis.
• Experience networking with donors, peer organizations, and faith-based civil society partners.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of Shelter and Settlements strategies and tools.
• Provide technical solutions to CP teams for planning, standards, and M&E.
• Contribute to technical design for proposals and help write content for proposals.
• Assist capacity-building activities, develop training curricula, and conduct trainings.
• Collect and analyze program data, share lessons learned, and support decision-making.
• Maintain relationships with donors and partners to promote CRS’ work.
