Job summary

CRS is seeking a Technical Advisor for Shelter & Settlements to support program design and implementation across global country programs. The role focuses on applying CRS standards, donor guidelines, and industry best practices to improve the quality of Shelter & Settlements programming and ensure rapid, accountable humanitarian action.

Responsibilities include developing technical design for proposals, capacity strengthening through trainings, data analysis, and maintaining donor relations.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Web conferencing tools.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of Shelter and Settlements strategies, standards, tools and best practices.
• Provide technical solutions to country program teams for strategic planning and application of standards.
• Contribute to technical design of proposals and assist with donor-aligned content.
• Assist capacity strengthening through trainings, curricula development and coaching.
• Analyze program data and share lessons learned to improve decision-making.
• Engage with donors, peer organizations and partners to share best practices.
