Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a ServiceNow SAM Developer for SBOM integrations to gather, process, and report SBOM data across tools. You will build SBOM capabilities within ServiceNow SAM and connect with GitLab and JFrog Artifactory to align data with licensing and inventory sources.

The role requires 5+ years in ServiceNow development and a strong understanding of SBOMs, licensing, and data processing. Remote work is offered with W2 benefits and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ServiceNow development/configuration, Software Asset Management, systems integration, or related work.
• Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow SAM solutions.
• Understanding of SBOMs and software component management.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, workflows, scripts, automation, and data processing.
• Experience with ServiceNow Request Management, Service Catalog, RITMs, approvals, workflows, and fulfillment processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, JSON, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Knowledge of SAM concepts including licensing, entitlements, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Jira and Agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, implement, and support SBOM data collection, processing, normalization, enrichment, integration, and reporting.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
• Develop integrations between GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, ServiceNow SAM, Flexera, and other systems.
• Normalize software components and associate them with apps and software records.
• Correlate SBOM data with license, entitlement, and inventory information for compliance and risk.
• Support CycloneDX and SPDX formats and related standards.
• Create reporting, dashboards, data quality monitoring, and error handling for SBOM processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and data-quality issues.
• Build ServiceNow SAM and SBOM module capabilities following best practices.
• Maintain catalog items, RITMs, approvals, workflows, and automated processes.
