Job summary

ThermalWorks is seeking a Platform Engineer (ServiceNow) to own administration and development of core business systems, primarily on ServiceNow, with NetSuite and Arena PLM as supporting systems. You’ll collaborate with operations, service, engineering, supply chain, and finance to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The role requires 3–5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, strong integration skills, and comfort with a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3–5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and development experience
• Experience supporting or integrating ERP and PLM systems (NetSuite and Arena preferred)
• Proven experience delivering system integrations and custom applications from requirements through production support
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders across operations, service, engineering, and finance

Responsibilities

• ServiceNow Administration: users, groups, roles, ACLs, forms, workflows, notifications, and service catalog
• Manage instance upgrades and ATF regression testing
• Maintain CMDB and data integrity; governance
• Develop scoped applications and automations with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies
• Extend ServiceNow modules to fit workflows (ITSM, Field Service, Customer Service)
• Integrations with NetSuite and Arena using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs
• Provide NetSuite and Arena support: users, roles, workflows, saved searches
• Develop light NetSuite (SuiteScript) and Arena API scripts
• Partner with AI & Data Analytics to connect systems to data platform
• Translate requirements into configuration or code; serve as escalation point
• Maintain runbooks, designs, and training materials
