Job summary

LightFeather is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, develop, and implement both baseline and custom ServiceNow applications across enterprise environments. The role is fully remote with EST hours and a full-time schedule.

You will work closely with federal clients, contributing architectural input and ensuring adherence to development standards while leveraging ITSM, ITIL, and AGILE practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Strong familiarity with ServiceNow tools: Catalog, Portal, Reports, Incident, Knowledge Base.
• Excellent communication with business and technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently on ServiceNow projects with strong problem-solving.
• ITSM, Asset/Configuration Management, ITIL/ITSM, PMP/PRINCE2.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.
• Lifecycle principles and data analysis for requirements translation into solutions.
• Preferred: ServiceNow CAD (Certified Application Developer).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and implement ServiceNow baseline and custom applications and enhancements.
• Provide architectural input and maintain stability of the platform by following design/development standards.
• Collaborate with business, systems, and technology partners to develop requirements.
• Develop requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications.
• Script Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.
• Facilitate and support rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow.
• Analyze system performance issues and implement performance improvements.
