Job summary

LightFeather is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support federal clients with modern web technologies. This role focuses on building custom, high-code solutions that enhance user experiences and system integration across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate is passionate about ServiceNow and eager to grow in a fast-paced, client-facing setting. The position is fully remote (EST hours) and full-time, with a salary of $120,000-$140,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Familiar with ServiceNow Suite: Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident and Knowledge Base.
• Strong communication with business and technical teams.
• Independent developer with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with IT Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, ITIL/ITSM, PMP/PRINCE2.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.
• Experience modeling large data sets to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and as a technical team member.
• Support multiple instances and domains for internal and external customers.
• Use Agile/Scrum to manage development work.
• Advise functional and admin teams on design, development and ServiceNow best practices.
• Collaborate in business analysis meetings to develop requirements.
• Develop enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications.
• Script Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.
• Facilitate and support rollout of new applications and enhancements.
• Analyze system performance issues and implement improvements.
