Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Software Engineer Intern to support a range of ITSM projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and learning new technologies, with a primarily remote setup and occasional onsite in Inver Grove Heights, MN. The Intern will join the Enterprise Services Management Platform team to modify ServiceNow AI systems, understand business needs, and adhere to Agile practices within a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree in Business Management, Information Management, Computer Science, or other STEM degree program.
Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, such as JavaScript.
Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Understanding of ITIL, DevOps, and ITSM practices.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development, including experience with Azure DevOps.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Basic understanding of workflows and business processes.

Responsibilities

Join Enterprise Services Management Platform team to deliver ServiceNow AI system modifications for ITSM space.
Understand requirements and formulate solutions in ServiceNow to support business needs.
Develop an understanding of business processes, integration technologies and team guidelines and standards.
Help ensure common understanding within the team on business needs and goals and ensure the team’s solutions address the core business needs
Adhere to scrum/agile processes as determined by a senior team member.
Collaborate with business units to deliver ServiceNow solutions.
Work with ESM team to deploy solutions into a production environment.
