Job summary

GDIT seeks a ServiceNow Developer for remote work to support integration and development across the ServiceNow platform. You will help expand modules, implement security models, and automate workflows while coordinating with external partners and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes ITIL-aligned design, incident/change management, and continuous improvement in an Agile environment. A ServiceNow CSA certification is required, with at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ServiceNow development or related IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITIL processes, and SDLC.
• Experience with REST and SOAP API integration.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and Glide APIs.
• Ability to design security roles, ACLs and UI policies.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Configure Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Manage users, groups, and foundational data structures.
• Design custom roles, security rules, and granular ACLs.
• Build workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
• Connect ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Process Managers, and cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum.
• Support platform upgrade cycles, instance cloning, and ATF execution.
• Proactively stay on top of new capabilities in the platform.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
