Job summary

Healthtech Inc. is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to configure, customize, maintain and administer the ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and HRSD.

You will design workflows, dashboards, portals, and reports to optimize business processes while ensuring security and performance within healthcare IT contexts. You will also upgrade environments, maintain CMDB data quality, and respond to incidents, changes and releases with a focus on end-user experience and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow experience, specifically CSM, ITOM (CMDB), SPM, ITSM modules including Portals.
• 3+ years ServiceNow development experience across multiple modules.
• 3+ years’ experience with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, Shell including Angular and React libraries.
• 2+ years of working experience across three or more ServiceNow areas: Incident, Change/Release, Knowledge, Service Portal, Asset, Reports/Dashboards, Configuration Management; JS/HTML/CSS.
• Familiarity with organizational change management and SDLC models.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle).
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and work in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts and strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail, customer service, teamwork, and ability to handle high-pressured situations.
• Cross-functional knowledge to bridge technical concepts to non-technical teams.
• Collaborative team player and alignment with Nordic Maxims.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize and use scripting to build and improve ServiceNow apps, including forms, workflows, ACLs, and notifications.
• Create scripts and develop forms/workflows and security rules across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, ITAM and ITOM (CMDB).
• Investigate platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and refine processes to streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow applications and lead cross-functional rollouts.
• Develop OOTB functionality, limit custom integrations, and test everything before go-live to protect data.
• Keep the instance secure and up to date with releases, patches, and plugins.
• Build monitoring tools, dashboards and reports to track SLAs and CMDB health.
• Create roadmaps using CSDM to align IT/HR and business data language.
• Maintain CMDB governance and data quality; support IT Operations, Change, and Incident routing.
• Serve as ServiceNow SME, train users, promote unified portals, and lead best-practices discussions.
