Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a US-based Service Technician to join our North American Service Team. This remote role covers the US South and potentially other territories, delivering preventive maintenance, repairs and customer support across industrial equipment.

You will diagnose problems, install parts, prepare quotes, and document service work while traveling up to 75% of the year within North America. Strong mechanical, electrical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Service Technician or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical skills including conveyors, wear-item replacement.
• Strong electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities, read drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install aftermarket parts and test for standard function.
• Educate customers on preventive maintenance schedules.
• Perform maintenance and service work orders per request.
• Diagnose problems and identify repair solutions.
• Prepare quotes and sales orders for parts and consumables.
• Complete detailed service reports and tickets of work performed.
• Communicate service-related work and recommendations to customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Travel domestically and internationally for onsite training and installations.
