Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sensor Integration Engineer to serve as the technical lead for integrating and validating force protection sensors across radar, EO/IR, LiDAR, EW, acoustic detection, and access control technologies within an active Army environment. You will coordinate with engineering, field operations, and subcontractors to ensure all sensing components form an integrated, interoperable ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or Master's with 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading complex DoD programs with multiple sensor domains.
• Ability to lead diverse technical teams and communicate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Integrate force protection sensors into the unified operational architecture.
• Configure interfaces, data paths, and operational parameters across sensor types.
• Support API/ICD development and sensor-to-COP data fusion.
• Coordinate with software and systems engineering teams for field readiness.
