Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sensor Integration Engineer to serve as the technical lead for integrating force protection sensors into a unified operational environment at Rock Island Arsenal OTA prototype. You will oversee configuration, testing, data fusion, and interoperability across radar, EO/IR, LiDAR, EW, and access-control sensors.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team, develop ICDs, perform field testing and ORR demonstrations, and support deployment activities in a demanding Army setting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6–10 years of experience.
• Experience leading DoD programs in EW, C-UAS, radar, EO/IR, LiDAR, acoustic detection, VMS, COP, and multi-sensor fusion.
• Ability to communicate with executives and lead diverse technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Integrate force protection sensors into a unified operational architecture.
• Configure interfaces, data paths, and operational parameters; develop ICDs.
• Conduct field testing, sensor calibration, and validation against scenarios.
• Provide deployment support and troubleshoot field issues.
• Manage risk and ensure interoperability across vendors and systems.
