Job summary

Optro, a leading AI-powered GRC platform company, is seeking a Senior Manager, HRIS System Administrator to own Workday architecture and related modules, collaborating with HR and Finance to map processes and translate requirements into scalable solutions.

You will lead design, configuration, integrations, and security, manage external consultants, and drive automation to improve HR/Payroll efficiency while upholding data integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM and related modules.
• 5+ years supporting HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation processes.
• Technical expertise in modules such as benefits, compensation, and performance.
• Strong understanding of HR/Payroll business processes and reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of integrations for HR, Finance, IT.
• Experience leading large technical projects through full SDLC lifecycle.
• Experience handling complex and confidential data.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with scalability in mind.
• Willingness to research and adopt new technologies.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Workday certifications a plus; Jira/agile familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of Workday to support HR, Payroll, and Benefits functions
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to gather requirements and translate into scalable solutions
• Administer the Workday platform, updates, integrations, permissions, and reporting
• Oversee security and data integrity to ensure regulatory and policy compliance
• Manage external consultants and lead implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation
• Identify opportunities to enhance HR/Payroll efficiency using automation and trends
