Chenega Corporation is seeking an expert Windows Administrator IV to lead enterprise AD to Entra ID migrations for a Federal Government customer. The role includes planning migrations, implementing Entra ID synchronization, and maintaining operations across Windows-based services.

The candidate will design automation pipelines, execute pilot migrations, and provide next-day support to address authentication, profile, and application access issues while ensuring proper patching and change control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology field.
• 15 years of experience designing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Windows system environments.
• Expertise with Active Directory, Active Directory Federated Services, and Azure AD and Entra ID.
• Kerberos/SSO
• PowerShell automation
• Large Enterprise experience
• Strict Change Control

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute AD to Entra ID migrations and domain consolidation.
• Configure Entra ID (Azure AD) synchronization and validate directory health.
• Deploy automation pipelines and pilot migrations (~200 test users).
• Perform nightly batches and issue remediation for authentication/SSO.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation for permissions, ACL remediation, and domain re-joins.
• Maintain OS patching, monitoring, and runbooks for IT ops.
