Job summary

Chenega Professional Technical Services, LLC. is seeking an expert Windows Administrator V to lead enterprise AD to Entra ID migrations for a Federal Government customer. The role requires planning migrations, performing O&M, and ensuring secure identity management across Entra ID and on-premises AD.

The ideal candidate has extensive Windows server experience, expertise in AD/Entra ID, Kerberos/SSO, and PowerShell automation. Position allows 100% remote work with periodic travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technology field.
• 12 years of experience designing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Windows system environments.
• Expertise with Active Directory, Active Directory Federated Services, and Azure AD and Entra ID.
• Kerberos/SSO and PowerShell automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform enterprise directory services, migration wave planning and communications with stakeholders.
• Perform AD to Entra ID migration and identity management.
• Configure Entra ID (Azure AD) identity synchronization and validate directory health.
• Deploy automation pipelines and pilot migrations for ~200 test users.
• Conduct controlled nightly batches with pre/post validation.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation for permissions, ACL remediation, Kerberos/SSO issues, and workstation re-joins.
• Execute identity cutovers and next-day support for authentication and access issues.
• Monitor logs and maintain patching baselines (WSUS or equivalent).
• Prepare authoritative runbooks for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.
