Job summary

Chenega Professional Technical Services, LLC is seeking an expert Windows Administrator IV to migrate Active Directory to Entra ID and consolidate domains for a Federal Government customer. The role requires expert AD-to-Enta ID migration, automation, and ongoing O&M for Windows-based services.

Responsibilities include planning wave migrations, testing, cutover execution, and Tier 3 support for authentication, ACL remediation, and Kerberos/SSO issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology field required.
• 15+ years of experience designing, configuring, and supporting Windows environments.
• Expertise with Active Directory, AD FS, and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Kerberos/SSO expertise and passwordless concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform AD to Entra ID migration and directory consolidation.
• Configure Entra ID identity synchronization and monitor directory health.
• Develop automation pipelines and run pilot migrations before full cutover.
• Conduct controlled nightly batches with validation and issue resolution.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation for permissions, ACL remediation, Kerberos/SSO issues, and re-joins.
• Prepare runbooks for Tier 1/2 support and maintenance of Windows services.
• Maintain OS and patch baselines (WSUS or equivalent).
• Assist in infrastructure planning, design, and transition project plans.
