Job summary

Dover, headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois, seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for Welding & Fabrication to lead process optimization and new equipment transitions.

You will design manufacturing processes, drive OEE improvements, develop playbooks, and deploy new welding technologies across multiple sites with 60-75% travel. A Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years in welding/fabrication required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience of manufacturing engineering directly working with Welding/Fabrication processes.
• Extensive experience with Welding/Fabrication Equipment - TIG, MIG, Laser Welding, Press Brake, Laser Cutting, etc.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design welding/fabrication processes to optimize throughput and quality.
• Lead equipment qualification, setup reviews, and mass production transitions.
