Job summary

Ouzinkie Native Corporation seeks a senior software architect to lead web development for the Decennial Budget Integration Tool (DBiT) support for the U.S. Census Bureau. You will plan scalable, high-performance systems, choose frameworks, cloud services, and APIs.

In a remote role, enforce coding guidelines, conduct code reviews, set up testing, and guide a Scrum team to deliver milestones while maintaining security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable web architectures for large-scale systems.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum in government or regulated environments.
• Proven ability to optimize complex database queries and performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide application architecture and technical direction, oversee modernization activities, guide development standards, support CI/CD and integration practices, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Write complex or critical code, optimize performance bottlenecks, and plan updates and security audits.
• Work in an Agile Scrum team to meet contract milestones and reporting requirements.
• Maintain code, scripts, and configuration files in GitHub Enterprise with Jira traceability.
