Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a Senior Engineering Specialist to join our Waterway Structures team. This role is fully remote and focuses on complex waterway projects, from concept through construction, with leadership in design and mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering degree, PE license, 15+ years of water engineering experience, and proficiency with SAP2000/STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• 15+ years of related water engineering experience required.
• PE license required.
• Experience with SAP2000 or STAAD.Pro is preferred.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Scope capital projects from concept through construction.
• Forecast timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Guide design of waterway structures and oversee construction documents.
• Mentor engineer staff and provide technical oversight.
• Coordinate with municipal/public clients and ensure compliance.
