Qualifications

• 7+ years of group insurance underwriting experience.
• Experience in pricing large cases.
• Experience mentoring underwriters and training teams.
• Mastery of product provisions, plan designs, pricing and funding arrangements.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Strong collaboration with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial modeling for reserve and budget calculations.
• Assess risk for Life, LTD, STD and supplemental health products.
• Evaluate renewals and RFPs for accuracy across group sizes.
• Deliver proposals and renewal analyses to grow inforce blocks.
• Conduct competitive analysis of coverage lines and findings.
• Serve as SME and adviser to senior leadership; mentor juniors.
