Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior Manager of Unified Communications Operations. You will lead a large UC operations team, ensuring availability, performance, and security of voice and collaboration platforms including Cisco CUCM and Teams Phone.

You will partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Risk to drive lifecycle management and strategic initiatives. The role emphasizes incident response, disaster recovery, and vendor management in a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years in Applications development/engineering or related fields.
• Experience leading enterprise Unified Communications environments.
• Strong background with Cisco Unified Communications technologies and SIP-based services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Unified Communications Operations team.
• Establish operational standards, governance, service levels, and performance metrics.
• Drive incident, problem, change, and service management practices.
• Oversee availability, stability, and support of enterprise voice and collaboration services.
• Collaborate with Engineering on roadmaps, upgrades, and resiliency.
