Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering electric transmission projects for major utilities. You will apply NESC/ASCE standards and lead design of HV/EHV overhead and underground systems.

You will prepare bid documents, plans, specifications, and procurement/construction packages while coordinating with clients, environmental, permitting, and construction management teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years in electric utility transmission design.
• Experience reviewing full transmission line designs including PLS-CADD models, foundations, and construction packages.
• Knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC and ASCE code requirements; material procurement and project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Design HV/EHV overhead and underground transmission systems.
• Prepare bidding documents, plans and specifications, and construction packages.
• Lead project scopes, budgets and proposals; interface with clients and teams.
