Job summary

ASI Government is seeking a Senior Training & Development Specialist to design, deliver, and continuously improve training for CISA’s acquisition workforce. The role partners with the Project Manager, COR, and Government stakeholders to ensure training meets real workforce needs and standards.

The position leads instructional design activities, supports the COR/PM communities, and uses virtual delivery platforms to reach up to 100 participants per session.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field, or 16+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating training projects from inception to completion—virtual platforms.
• Mastery of IDE frameworks and models (ADDIE, SAM, Dick and Carey, Action Mapping).
• Experience designing and delivering training to federal, state, or large enterprise audiences.
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability; no active clearance required at hire.
• Ability to work 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET, Mon–Fri.
• U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate training and development activities across the program period as the subject matter expert.
• Conduct training needs analyses to identify knowledge gaps and recommend enhancements.
• Review existing training materials and update to reflect current FAR/HSAR guidance.
• Design, develop, and deliver synchronous and asynchronous training for COR/PM communities.
• Coordinate training projects end-to-end using modern technology and virtual platforms.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and iterate course updates.
• Produce deliverables suitable for Government publication (slides, videos).
• Support COR/PM Community of Practice integration across the workforce.
• Lead continuity of support and coordinate transition activities with Government stakeholders.
