Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) for Data Center Networking (Apstra). This remote role supports the Apstra platform across the US, bridging engineering, product management, marketing, and field teams to craft technical content, demos, and customer-facing materials.

You will develop enablement content, deliver presentations, stay current on data center networking trends, and help position products to technical and executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in Technical Marketing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• Strong knowledge of modern data center networking technologies, including: IP Fabrics, Spine-Leaf Architectures, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN.
• Hands-on experience with network automation using APIs, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience presenting complex technical solutions to customers, partners, or field organizations.
• Proven ability to build engaging product demonstrations that clearly communicate customer value and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical enablement content, including presentations, solution guides, white papers, workshops, labs, and training materials.
• Design, build, and maintain product demonstrations that showcase customer challenges, technical capabilities, and business outcomes.
• Support field sales, systems engineering, and channel teams by providing technical expertise and creating customer-facing content.
• Deliver presentations at customer meetings, internal enablement sessions, partner events, and industry conferences.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and regional field organizations to support product launches and strategic initiatives.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends in data center networking, automation, AI, and cloud infrastructure.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for technical and executive audiences.
