Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. The role will establish enterprise testing, quality engineering, automation, and AI-assisted testing practices supporting U.S.

Census Bureau systems. The candidate will work within an Agile, DevSecOps, and cloud-native PMO environment, collaborating with product owners, engineers, cybersecurity teams, program leaders, and Government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with test-automation frameworks and testing tools.
• Experience integrating automated testing into Agile and DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing techniques for test generation and coverage analysis.
• Strong analytical and communication skills across technical and government stakeholders.
• Ability to validate accuracy, reliability, and repeatability of tests.

Responsibilities

• Establish enterprise testing standards, procedures, tools, test plans, acceptance criteria, and traceability practices.
• Design test coverage for functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and edge-case testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites, CI/CD quality gates, and continuous-testing capabilities.
• Evaluate AI-assisted techniques for test-case generation, coverage analysis, synthetic test data, and regression testing.
• Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, release-readiness, and quality-control activities.
• Collaborate with Government stakeholders, program managers, engineers, architects, product owners, cybersecurity teams, and other contractors to improve system quality and reliability.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives.
