Job summary

Mostudio is seeking a Senior Testing Engineer to support federal government clients, beginning with VA projects. You will own testing across complex initiatives, designing strategies for quality, accessibility, and policy compliance.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including mobile apps.
Experience working with the federal government; VA experience preferred.
Proven ability to independently own testing and QA across complex projects.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, automated testing, mobile development, and iterative delivery.
Experience with cross‑platform mobile testing on iOS and Android.
Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and testing approaches.
Ability to consider technical, accessibility, compliance, and business processes together.
Proven client leadership, ability to communicate with technical and non‑technical audiences.
Excellent problem‑solving and decision-making in ambiguous environments.
Consulting mindset with collaboration across teams and client engagement.
Experience using AI/automation to improve testing workflows and delivery quality.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies ensuring quality, accessibility, and policy compliance.
Design and perform functional, workflow-driven, performance, and accessibility testing across mobile products.
Develop and maintain automated tests and testing workflows to improve coverage and delivery.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into test plans.
Test using assistive technologies to validate government accessibility standards.
Verify fixes and validate functionality across development and production environments.
Identify quality risks and opportunities to improve testing approaches and workflows.
Incorporate AI and automation into daily testing to increase efficiency and coverage.
Educate customers and delivery teams on mobile quality and accessibility best practices.
