Placements24 is seeking a visionary Telecoms Network Architect for a fully remote role. Lead the design of scalable, secure networks, evaluate new technologies, and shape the strategic direction across regions while collaborating with engineering, operations, and business units.

We require 10+ years in telecom network design, expertise in MPLS/SDN/NFV and cloud networking, and a track record of delivering resilient large-scale networks.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in telecommunications network design and architecture.
• Deep understanding of network technologies including routing, switching, MPLS, SDN, NFV, and cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Design and document scalable, secure, and highly available telecommunications network architectures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption to enhance network capabilities.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for network evolution and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are implementable and meet operational requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex network design challenges.
• Define network standards, best practices, and security policies.
