ABB in the United States is seeking a Sr. Technical Trainer to empower customers and partners with the knowledge they need to succeed.

You will lead hands-on training sessions on low and medium voltage electrical distribution products, delivering clear, practical guidance. You will collaborate with SMEs to identify learning needs, develop accurate content, and run a hybrid training model that combines virtual and in-person sessions across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field with at least 6 years of experience in electrical/technical industry.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution system equipment and applications is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% across North America.
• Ability to work independently from any location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the training journey.
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify learning needs and develop accurate and relevant training content.
• Lead a hybrid model of training between themselves and SMEs to ensure effective delivery of technical training programs.
• Develop materials, coordinate logistics, and tailor content to audience needs; Facilitate in-person and virtual sessions with clarity, confidence, and technical depth; Gather feedback, assess effectiveness, and continuously improve content
