Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Trainer to empower customers and partners with essential knowledge. You will lead hands-on training sessions on low and medium voltage electrical distribution products, delivering high-impact sessions across North America.

You will collaborate with SMEs to tailor content, develop materials, and coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual sessions, ensuring clear, confident delivery and measurable effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering plus minimum 6 years of experience in electrical/technical industry.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution system equipment and applications is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% across North America.
• Ability to work independently from any location.
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the training journey.
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify learning needs and develop accurate training content.
• Lead a hybrid training model to ensure effective delivery of technical programs.
• Develop materials, coordinate logistics, tailor content to audience needs; facilitate in-person and virtual sessions; gather feedback and improve content.
